You let the darkness take you as the beast let out a final, haunting roar. You gasped, the beast had stuck one of its claws through your chest, sharing the kryptonites wrath out with you, you pushed the weapon in with your final amount of newfound strength, your body numbed, you felt the claw disappear from within your chest, the beast latching onto you as you felt the kryptonite flow through you, shutting your body down, organ by organ. “(NAME)!” Someone’s screams echoed across the war strunken battlefield, you drove the kryptonite blade into the beast's chest, getting weaker by the second, attempting to push it in more. You awoke to see black marble slabs in front of you, names engraved in gold, a crumpled statue next to a crushed marble slab, your mind racing, your last memory taking dominance over others. “If we have (name), we have superman with us, it will work, Diane.” “If I might add” Cyborg said, looking between the bickering adults “I have calculated the probability of resurrecting (name) the same way I was, it has a 97% chance of working.” “This is for your own gain, Bru-“ Diana was cut off by Bruce screaming “It’s the only way we can beat Steppenwolf and put this to a stop.” Bruce replied back, anger growing from the defiance against his plan. “He will not like this, he wouldn’t want this for them.” Diana said, anger seeping through.
“We can make him help, if the box helped bring cyborg back, it should make them come back.” Bruce replied back, staring at a slightly shocked Diana. “We can’t get his help if we can’t find him, anyways, if we find him, he will not help us - I know this.” Diana said, looking over at Bruce, the suggestor of said insane idea.
